What if the trip I have my heart set on is sold out?
Just because a tour is sold out doesn’t mean you are out of options for taking the trip of your dreams. If we can make it happen, we will. Please email us at paperplanesandpassports@gmail.com They can try to accommodate your request or let you know about newly added departure dates that might work with your schedule.
When should I make my reservation? Can PPP hold a spot on a tour for me?
If you have your heart set on a certain tour at a certain time (and at its current price), we recommend you make your reservation as early as possible—six months to a year in advance is a good rule of thumb. To reserve a place on most tours, a deposit per person is required. Check each trip page for specific deposit requirements. Prices are subject to change at any time.
Do you accept payment plans?
Of course, select the Installments options on the trip you want to go on. Payment terms are specific to each group trip and booking. Contact us for more information.
Personal bookings and other group cancellation policy via other travels suppliers?
Please read your options of travel protection that is offered during the quoting process. You are responsible for purchasing travel protection or cancelling your reservation by sending an email to paperplanesandpassports@gmail.com within the allotted time based on the booking supplier and details of that specific reservation.
Forced Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation or change by PAPER • PLANES • PASSPORTS or our suppliers due to personal health issues, weather conditions, political views, or global health risks, you are not entitled to a full refund including deposit. You are responsible for purchasing travel protection in order to receive monetary refund.
What if my roommate cancels?
PAPER • PLANES • PASSPORTS will not match you with a roommate. Only select double occupancy if you have a set roommate.
If the roommate you selected cancels, your rate will adjust to the revised (single person) rate or you can replace them. It is your responsibility to find another roommate or upgrade to single occupancy.

What are your deposit & refund policies?
Most trips offer the chance to reserve your seat with a deposit for a limited time. Some trips have specific deposit requirements. Please refer to the detailed information listed on the trip page. After the deposit has been paid, the remaining balance is due on the date listed on the group trip page (usually 60-90 days prior to departure date). Failure to pay your trip balance on time will result in the loss of your deposit and any funds paid towards the trip.
No grace periods will be provided. No refunds will be issued after 24 hours of deposit. No refunds will be provided if you decide not to attend. You are responsible for purchasing travel protection in order to get a refund minus the cost of trip protection. Please contact the company you purchased travel insurance from.
